We require a minimum weight of 70 lbs. and suggest that the child be 10 years of age (to be sure they have good motor skills and coordination to manipulate themselves along the zip cable should it be necessary).

What should I wear? You MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Wear comfortable clothes; jeans, cargo pants or shorts, a t-shirt, maybe a light jacket that you can take off and wrap around your waist.

Ziplines don't give you the same stomach-dropping feeling you experience on roller coasters. The motion is a gentle lateral movement, nothing erratic.

The best times to visit the Grand Canyon are March through May and September through November, when daytime temperatures are cool and crowds are thin. If you decide to visit during the summer (the park's peak season), be prepared for hordes of tourists and very limited lodging availability.
